Like I said in an earlier post that I’ll be reviewing some of my already authored post here on this blog, this is a very in-dept and informative post I wrote some couple of months ago.

PLR has become so popular that each time I come across someone still asking the what is PLR question, I wonder if he/she had been living in a cave all this while but, honestly at end of such thought I often actually blame myself for assuming everybody should know what PLR is just because it’s so popular.

This was the reason I wrote the post back then to enlighten people that don’t know much about PLR. Over the past months, I have been involved in series of other activities locally, in which I came across so many people that still don’t know what PLR all about. Online is very different from the offline, where you can just throw up your shop on a highway and customers will easily find you. Online, you have to get out and help customers find you. Else, your competitors will not allow them to.

Over the pass few weeks I have been sharing with you proven tips and trick that can make you a successful blogger, and today I’m sharing another very crucial factor that can either make or mar your success as blogger. And it has to do with TRAFFIC; the life-wire of every blog/website.

Like I said in the introduction, online is a lot different from offline and so you have to get out there and help readers find your blog, market and promote your blog every single opportunity you get. Don’t be passive, don’t be shy about promoting your blog, be seriously active about it. You want traffic isn’t it? Then get out there and give it all your best.

If you can agree with me that promotion/marketing (either free or paid) greatly determines the level of success a blog can experience, then you might need to begin to subscribe to the fact that SEO is the life wire of your blog promotion/marketing.

Today, I’ll like to discuss a subject that mostly sounds complicated but has become a must for every blogger to get familiar with, because it covers every aspect of the things you do to your blog directly (on-page) and indirectly (off-page), with the simple goal of gaining targeted visitors to the blog.

As a matter of fact it can right be assume that SEO is the life wire of your blog’s success. As it’s a known fact that without targeted traffic any blog is doomed, so also you should know, that without proper SEO your blog may never experience it goals; be it monetary or otherwise. I know many people might want dispute this, but that will not change the fact, it’ll only shows their wrong perception of the simple fundamental goal of SEO; which is to gain targeted traffic to a site/blog. You might also have heard it been referred to as Search Engine Marketing or simply Search Marketing.

As easy as this might seems to most of us, there are still a whole bunch of newbies out there that still need some help with creating a blog at blogger. If the emails I have received as to this effect is anything to go by, I can safely say that there are even more of such people around us than we think.

Even as I’m writing this post, it’s been the second day running that a friend of mine “whom I just  introduced to the idea of blogging few weeks ago” has been battling with creating a blogger blog. Initially, he didn’t  seek my help and so I didn’t know that was going on, until today that, I think he got frustrated with it and decided to call my attention to it.

I have said it here time without number, even show you some stats in some earlier part of this post series, that the Blogopshere is evolving at the speed of light and to fit in, you to also have keep pace with the speed. How? Research!

The Need for RESEARCH!

Apart from the above, you can’t do without research in writing your blog post, no matter how much you know on your topic, it wouldn’t be complete without adding related contents from other sources which you only get by Researching. Readers love such, it gives then the opportunity to get a bigger picture on the topic just from reading your blog and also maybe reading every other that you made reference to. At least that way it saves them the pain of having to be the one to go out searching for more information on those ideas you have also raise within your articles that you probably couldn’t expand on, maybe because they are beyond the scope of what you’re talking about.

WordPress.com is not doubt one of the top free blog platforms currently available, with it’s great layout, great user interface and easy of uasge, you can always be rest assure of nothing more than a super user experience. Although, there are some major limitations to this free version of WordPress, it still a great choice if you are tight on budget or you are not really hoping to go into blogging as a pro, or maybe you just want to use your blog as an hubby or just to connect with friends and family.

I had a very hectic but super interesting weekend last week. I felt really worn out on monday but the excitement I’m feeling gave me the energy to attending to every of my daily routine and other emergency in the office, but for the excitement in the hectic weekend, I would probably have been unable to get off the bed that morning.

I’m sure you must be wondering how was the weekend, to have warranted this post; if you have been following this blog, you’ll remember that I was invited to be the main resources person at Seminar organized by Success Empowerment Limited, Yola. The seminar was initially slated for 15th and 16th of this month but was later postponed to 22nd and 23rd, which happens to be this last weekend. From the outcome and the comments of the attendees, I realized it was a really explosive presentation I delivered; even my voice and body are telling me that right now. I’ve never really been that long on my feet neither have I had to deliver a presentation that long before, to be honest. Phew! 7(Seven) straight hours on my feet on Saturday and another 6(Six) straight hours on Sunday, not a joke you can see. Read the rest of this entry
